Unruly children can really cause a need for problem solving, and quickly. It seems nowadays, parents are finding it more difficult to control kids, let alone raise them properly. Contrary to popular misconceptions, a child’s environment today has shaped what seems to be unruliness and defiant behavior amongst youth.

Communicating with your children is the key to beginning the initial process of disciplining your children. If you are a parent that rarely speaks to you child, unless you’re reprimanding them, that can turn into a large mistake. Loving kindness will allow a child to open up to you more, and they are more inclined to pay attention. Most parents have taken the scare-tactic to try and discipline their kids. Fear is not the way to go. Lie – Either you have talent, and thus CAN sing, or you don’t have talent, and can NOT sing.
Truth – Pretty much everybody can talk, and if you can talk then you can sing. This is because the speaking mechanism is the same as the singing mechanism.
Lie – When people start singing, they don’t sing properly and so they first have to re-learn EVERYTHING.
Truth – While you might be doing some things wrong, if you can speak then you must be doing a lot right. You use the same instrument to speak that you use to sing.
Lie – To develop a vocal range of 2 octaves takes literally years of vocal training and practice.
Being a single mom of 3 children I find that there isn’t enough hours in the day to accomplish all the tasks of the day. Here are a few key points that I have found help me to be a time management mom.
It’s a lot harder to accomplish everything you want to when you got little ones that depend solely on you. One of the things I find helpful is to start preparing for the next day the day before.
I have one daughter in school, So I prepare everything school related the night before. Therefore, my mornings are a little quieter. I get up in the morning and make a cup of coffee and sit there in the silence till I’m ready to wake my children.
When the children wake up, I make breakfast, get them dressed, and do their hair. Because everything is prepared and laid out the night before, this is a relaxing time for the children and I. No rushing around to get everything ready. At 8:15am we’re on our way out of the door to drop my oldest off at school. This leaves me with only the two youngest kids for the rest of the day.
