The Trials of Micro ManagementEveryone at some point in their lives has run into the Trials of Micro Management. You may have been a micro manager yourself or worked with another who is a micro manager.

Micro Management occurs when someone in charge, be it a parent, partner or boss, consistently checks up on the smallest aspect of something that you are doing. These type A personalities come across as highly irritating and leave you with a feeling of inadequacy.

While there may be situations where Micro Management is necessary, in most cases it is more often the case that the one doing the micro managing simply does not trust that the work or project will be completed as required unless they are hands on managing each detail.
