Hosting a Scrapbooking CropAre you planning on hosting a scrapbooking crop?  If so, you’re in for a world of fun!  Scrapbooking is a fun and creative hobby enjoyed by millions worldwide, and a crop is a great way to get experienced and novice scrappers together to share cheap scrapbooking supplies, get new pointers, and to create some great new pages and books.  But as much as it is, when hosting a scrapbooking crop, there are a few important things to consider.

Your scrapbookers are going to need something more to do than just creating page layouts all weekends, even if they are the most diehard scrappers.  When hosting a scrapbooking crop be sure to provide other activities that attendees can participate in, or provide instructors and demonstrators of new products or techniques.  This means that the attendees won’t be drained from trying to create new pages and books for hours and hours at end and can get a rest from all the activity.

Fairway GolfFor an avid golfer there is no better way to spend part of their summer than taking a splendid Ontario golf vacation, and the couple who truly enjoys the game can find a facility that welcomes them to the courses. Not only can they learn the techniques and skills needed to become better on the links, but the evenings can be filled with quality time together as they work at a hobby they both enjoy.

Some countries such as England, Canada, and Spain have golf schools held at top golf resorts. While the days are filled with planned classes and many include competition, the evenings are generally free for individuals as well as couples to do some sightseeing while on their golf school vacation. While many packages are three days or more, there are a few that are only or two day trips. There are some tournaments that give out custom golf balls as prizes to winning couples.

Perhaps one member of the family is already an accomplished golfer and has had trouble teaching the other part of the couple. A golf school vacation can provide the new golfer with the training they need to better understand what their partner is trying to explain while the more experienced of the two can fine tune their game.

Why Choose Creative Memories Paper for ScrapbookingThere’s no doubt about it.  Scrapbooking is a big business and most scrapbookers are always looking for new scrapbooking techniques. Of course, you have many different scrapbooking manufacturers to choose from.  So why choose Creative Memories paper for scrapbooking when you have so many choices in front of you?  Let’s see what they have available so you can make your own decision.

There are a few reasons to consider.  Creative Memories scrapbooking paper usually comes in coordinating packs or sets so you don’t have to rely on your own artistic talent to choose your products.  Some experienced scrappers are perfectly fine with coordinating their different papers and sets but for someone that is new to the hobby or is just a little bit creatively challenged, they can rely on the Creative Memories product line to offer them just the right sets, colors, and designs.  This can be a great thing for those who are just a little bit intimidated with the idea of making up a scrapbook from scratch when they really have no idea where to begin.

Growing Bonsai Is An Absorbing HobbyBonsai

Watching bonsai develop and forming them into amazing sculptures is an absorbing and very rewarding hobby. Growing bonsai trees isn’t an expensive hobby with few tools being required, but a beautiful bonsai tree can be more of a statement in your home than many ornaments can. A bonsai is a living sculpture.

Bonsai Trees are pot planted trees that are developed to be miniatures of the full sized tree. Bonsai are grown from almost any perennial wood stemmed trees and shrubs that produce branches and can develop small through container confinement with the aid of crown and root pruning.

Bonsai can be grown from seeds, from young shoots taken from the wild, (please have regard for any local laws in respect of removing wild plants or trees in your area), or can be ordered as mature planted bonsai. Obviously growing bonsai trees from seed is the slowest route, but you will have total control of how your bonsai tree will look.
