Caring  For Combination SkinBefore you are able to care for combination skin, you need to know that you indeed do have this skin type. Combination skin usually refers to facial skin. Most of us work with either dry or oily skin. With combination skin, both dry and oily skin is present on the face. The T-Zone, which represents the forehead, nose and chin, is generally where you will find oily skin. The balance of the face will have dry or normal skin.

A simple test for combination skin is to lightly blot the T-Zone area with a tissue. If the tissue comes away with oily residue in the T-Zone area, but not on the other areas of your face, you have combination skin.
